You talk about peoples perspective on a "bad day". I agree totally there. As messed up as this will sound, I am glad I got cancer in my mid 20's. I was put on a young persons ward when I went in for chemo. I saw kids from ages 9-15 who were dealing with cancer they could never beat. All that could be done was extending their life. They never seemed to moan about anything not related to how chemo was making them feel sick. THAT is a bad day. The strength of character & will I saw was awe inspiring. & that stopped me, from that day onward, from ever saying "I had the worst day EVER!". Cause Feth knows others have it a million times worse than I do.
I hope everyone is having an amazing week & much love to all from here in the UK

I am so happy everyone did this. So much incredible info (in both episodes)! The quote from Chases’s mentor hit me like a brick wall. “If somebody else talked to you the way you talk to yourself, you’d knock their teeth out”. Really resonated with me. Overall the episode left me with a lot to think about (which I love) 😎. Thanks guys!!!

Powerful stuff. And so true. As a man thinketh... This/these topic/s has been something I've been living and working on in my own life recently. Changing how I think, what I think. How I live my life and how I see myself. Making a deliberate choice and effort to look, be and live a positive life after all the years of trauma and damage. It's do-able. Change the negative thoughts, use critical thinking. Make the choice to change my vision of myself. 😃 In my life, having God has helped make the difference in this process.

Growing up in South Africa, I have been held at gunpoint, attacked and severly tortured for more tha 5 hours and high jacked. We have to move on, but these days I trust my gut feeling and I also look at pattern changes in people and places and situations. This protected me a few times. Always believe in your gut

Interestingly, my son and his partner rescued a lovely nine months old dog, when they got home, he was given a toy to play with, he spent a great deal of time on his back, paws in the air, it was amazing! Obviously he knew he could trust them from the moment they met!

Thank you! So many good points! I loved the part about being realistic when we tell ourselves what’s “horrible” in our lives. My husband used to say, there are problems and there are annoyances. That is an annoyance!
Also intrigued by the conversation around how we form our self image. loved your example of the little girl who could “zip, button and tie!” Feeling competent about things she had conquered in life. So powerful!

I can really relate with the patient you had Dr. Phil. I was working as an intermediary at a children's hospital through an agency I was working with. For myself, I tried not to compare myself to others with what I experienced in nursing, but there was an immense amount of frustration being 18-23 and dealing with death, disease and relating to my friends too.
It's great to hear the more personal side of you, and the mask being lifted to generate conversations and allowing yourself to heal by being vulnerable and I feel less alienated knowing someone else older/more experience felt the same way I did.

    Yesssss
    Super good show.
I have in the past 2 decades been evaluating the behavior of horses on up close, their confirmation, how they are put together vs function, the whorl placement vs behavior, their diet vs emotions.
And then I started filling human physical traits with body language and vocal statements or facial similarities with emotions.
Just my own observation but they almost mirror each other.
Thank you so very much for everything, I'm just a person who is an observer if I find a similar characteristic.
It truly is fascinating, more so on animal behavior tho.
Next personal observation I hope will be with cows whorl placement vs emotions.

I used to watch Dr. Phil a lot. Honestly to understand people, basically. And I have watched a lot of the behavior panel s videos too! I really like the four guys. I would have loved a woman on there 😄 But you guys definitely do great! I love the respect you have for each others opinions etc. And your alike, but also different, reactions to different people and their behavior.
That was just a kind of intro 😂
This video really made me realize some things about my behavior.
I am autistic, and I have a big sorrow in my life, which is that I wish to be more social. To find good friends. But I have tried my whole life (I am 40 years old), and non of my friends have stuck. Some have just disappeared out of my life. Some I have parted with, because I didn't think they were good for me to have in my life. And now I am scared to even try, anymore.. I don't trust myself finding new friends. Because I think I have a tendency to find kind of narcissistic types, who like to have me around, but does not have my back when I need it.
But also people seem to not engage with me.. And this is why I am writing right now.. I believe people think I am more insecure than I am. Sometimes dumber then I am (I am a mensa member, so not unintelligent 😆). But I realized, that I maybe displaying nervous behavior.. maybe kind of "ready to fight".. or flight 😆 -kind of body language.
I have wondered and wondered what it is that people misread or don't like enough, in me, to want to get to know me better..
And my thinking is now, that maybe, this is one reason.. (my body language)
I know this issue is not what you are doing.. But could you maybe help autistic people understanding their own body language, and what we can do to get better across to others? And not get so misunderstood all the time.
Maybe in a way where we can still, in some way, self sooth, as we probably need to do that?
(All five of you, or just the behavior panel)
I don't know.. something like that. I would LOVE some help, as I am desperat to understand how I can get good friends in my life, that actually wants to be there!
Hope this moment makes sense to you 😊 ❤️

In the insurrection we went thru recently I think this movement of crowd and looking for someone breaking the pattern would have been very useful. I remember there were a bunch of men with all sorts of weapons and zip ties and things and they were moving very purposely, not with the crowd, but coordinated, when you see it on film you immediately get a feeling of something being very calculated and even more frightening than the ones who were killing the cops.

I have found that if you are the first one to work, start the computers, make the coffee, buy into furthering your training/education, refuse to censorship stuff, the ones who just want to show, do the bare minimums, and get their before going home will sabotage you along the way.
